What has the Chamber done for YOUR business?
What hasn't the Chamber done for MY business! When I was asked to join the Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce I wondered why. I was already an established business in Lincoln County with clientele. I ranked at the top fo the scoreboards across the nation in sales, was at the top of my unit with recruiting, and had National Sales Directors from out of state wanting me to train their consultants. What more could I ask for?

Andi continued to approach me and finally I joined. Only days later did she send the Advocate Messenger to do a cover story on my business. Thinking this might draw a couple more customers and knowing full well that usually these things never are profitable I agreed and was interviewed. After the reporter took some quick photos and asked her questions she left with, "I think it might be run on Sunday, but more likely Monday." Great, was my thought, the business section on Sunday, or page 7 in Monday's edition, right between Deal Heloise and the Horoscopes. Looking hopeful I called my mother and grandmother to make sure they would see the article. Sunday afternoon my Grandmother called to inform me that "I didn't make the paper." I told her it would definately be tomorrow so just wait and see. Oh boy, did we see.

When the paper hit on Monday I was waiting at the machine to make sure I got more than one copy for my quarter and low and behold... the front page, the headline, full color picture and a fabulous story. I was ecstatic with my coverage, the Lincoln Ledger picked up the story for Wednesday's edition. Only days later did I receive a phone call from News Channel 27 wanting to do a story on me. The rest is history.

I still receive phone calls from people around the nation that go to google.com and search for "Mary Kay Man" and give me a call. My business you ask? Out of the 150,000 consultants in my national division I ranked number 19.

What can the Chamber do for you and your business?
