 Chamber Welcomes Mr. Wildcat
........The featured speaker at the Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce Banquet this year will be Bill Keightley. The banquet will be held on Tuesday April 27 at the Lincoln County High School. Social Hour starts at 5:50 and dinner will be at 6:30. Tickets are $20.00 and are available at all three banks, FabricShop.com and the Chamber office in City Hall.........

Mr. Keightley, also known as "Mr. Basketball" has been the equipment manager for the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball team for over 43 years. Under the tutelage of five coaches - Adolph Rupp, Joe B. Hall, Eddie Sutton, Rick Pitino and Tubby Smith - the Wildcats have amassed over 1,000 wins. Mr. Keightley is one of only two people who are not players or coaches to have their jersey hanging in the rafters of Rupp Arena, the other being the legendary broadcaster Cawood Ledgord.
